Faculty Work Retreats
These sessions consist of a two hour coworking session followed by a shared lunch. They are open to any of the 7,300 Faculty Senate Members at the U of M.
Speeches from the Public Square
Open mic sessions that allow various students and campus stakeholders to discuss ‘What’s At Stake For Me In the New Election”.
New Faculty Mixer
The annual welcome mixer for all incoming faculty members. This event is hosted by the FSO and the Department of Film, Television, and Media.
Innovate Brew
Every month, faculty members are randomly paired to go for coffee. This is an opportunity to meet the wide variety of faculty at the U of M, generate new ideas, and build a stronger sense of community.
Regent Candidate Forum
An event held to introduce and facilitate a debate between the new regent candidates.
2024 DMN Lecture
The annual lecture held by the FSO regarding academic freedom and intellectual freedom.
