Committee Description

The Secretary of the University Advisory Committee (SAC) advises and consults with the Vice President and Secretary of the University, who serves under the direction of the president with responsibility to the Board of Regents on issues such as maintenance of official records of Board actions, coordination of meetings and events including members of the board of regents, and communications pertaining to the board and the president and executive officers of the university. (Note: The committee is organized to advise the Secretary of the University—who has a role distinct from the Board of Regents itself—with that role including the facilitation and coordination of the work of the President, Executive Officers, and the Board of Regents.)
