The International Center is hosting multiple information sessions to provide updates on recent visa and immigration developments. These forums are open to international scholars, faculty and staff at U-M in a non-immigrant status, and their dependents. Trump’s Immigration Policies: Preparing for the Future Amid Rapid Policy Change
Join experts and advocates in the field of immigrant justice for a webinar examining the Trump administration’s draconian anti-immigrant policies. What is the current state of immigration law? What does it mean for people in the United States living under increased threat of deportation? What can we do to oppose this crackdown, and how can students get involved? Speakers from the American Civil Liberties Union and the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center will answer these questions and more, moderated by Associate Professor of American Culture Melissa Borja.
