Overview: The Rules, Practices and Policies Committee reviews and suggests modifications, in the “Rules of the University Senate, the Senate Assembly, and the Senate Advisory Committee on University Affairs” or other Senate Assembly legislation. On the request of Senate Assembly, the committee shall review and advise on University policies including the Standard Practice Guide (SPG).

Purpose: This committee shall, upon the request of the Senate, The Senate Assembly, SACUA or a committee of the Senate Assembly, review and suggest changes, if any, in the “Rules of the University Senate, the Senate Assembly, and the Senate Advisory Committee on University Affairs”, or other Senate Assembly legislation. The committee shall advise upon proposed formulations of changes in the Rules; upon Rules alleged no longer to be descriptive of the functions to be performed, and shall furnish interpretations of the meaning and application of Rules.
